Taylor Taliesin (They/xer) like their namesake, identifies as a traveling bard, as well as Leather Slut, and Bootblack. They first started in Leather in their hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska and have been an enthusiastic participant in several communities throughout their travels since. Their hobbies include leather crafting, reading in the sunshine, and jumping into hot springs naked. They work with a variety of nonprofits in the medical and mental health fields serving the S2LGBTQIA+ Community. Their homebase is eastern Oregon; but they have crushes, partners, community, and connection across the Pacific Northwest. Taylor holds the opinion that living in leather is a political act that requires the integrity of living in alignment with their values. These values include that human rights and civil rights violations are, and should continue to be, criminal acts, that genocide and concentration camps shouldn’t exist, and that privatization of basic human and community services is reprehensible.
